South Africa / Suid Afrika Artillery (moving wheel with red felt backing) Gilt Brass Officers Cap Badge
A King's crown cap badge for the South African Artillery, with turning wheel which as a red felt cloth inserted behind the wheel which could probably only have been inserted at time of construction. Three original loops to reverse and shaped to cap. Officer quality. Gilt bright, old spot of verdigris. Worn 1926 onwards.
