2nd King Edward VIIs Own Gurkha Rifles (The Simoor Rifles) Unusual White Plaster Cast of Mess Servants Badge, 1940 - 1947

Circa 4.5cms in diameter, a plaster disc, presumably produced as a master for a metal die stamp and a unique and unusual item from the collection of a former senior officer of the Regiment. It is similar in design to the Mess Servants Badge worn in the period 1940-1947 as per the dimensions of the badge described as Item J11 in the Gurkha Museum Insignia book for this regiment (a copy of this page will be supplied).
