WW1 Northumberland Fusiliers (NF) Officer's Cap Badge - Modified with slider
An officer's issue, butt probably the property of a senior NCO, possibly an RSM, given how polished away the detail is. Converted to a slider by the original owner and missing its loops, which have been neatly removed. Name of owner: "Jim" scratched on to the slider. Of two part riveted construction. Whilst polished and therefore sold as seen, this has some charm to it.

A field service cap badge with two original loops. Crowned Garter resting in four-part scroll “Queen’s Own Corps of Guides”, VR to voided centre and QVC crown above. This appears to have been cast from a hallmarked original (evidence of this to reverse). Circa 3.3cms tall. In good condition.

Very scarce brass cap badge with two loops to the reverse and makers details for Gaunt London, worn by the New Zealand Motor Reserve of Officers (only 178 officers). A stylized steering wheel, bearing the title "N.Z. Military Forces Motor Reserve". In existence for a very short period from 16 April 1913. Disbanded 11th February 1920. Circa 3.2cm in diameter. A lovely badge.

A pair of die struck facing brass (now dark toned) collar badges. Not quite matching but close. Both with two hexagonal lugs to the reverse of each, although on one these have been bent inwards to make them less prominent. Circa 3.2cm tall. Scarce.

New Zealand Veterinary Corps Officers OSD Bronze Collar Badge - Gaunt tablet
This is the fern leaf pattern as opposed to the laurel leaf pattern, in bronze. Circa 3.2cm tall, UK made with JR Gaunt London tablet to reverse of crown. Two original lugs to the reverse. In very good condition and scarce. The unit was formed in 1906 and disbanded in 1947. King’s crown.

Indian Army - CLH Calcutta Light Horse Brass Shoulder Title
The Calcutta Light Horse was raised in 1872 and formed part of the Cavalry Reserve in the British Indian Army. The regiment was disbanded following India's independence in 1947. This is very nicely cast with two small original lugs to the reverse. Of good quality, possibly officers' issue.
