Everlasting Silver Leaves From Table Mountain Cape Town South Africa. The silvered leaves are in good condition, with a stamped picture of army lines and blockhouses. In good overall condition and scarce. One leave looks like it has lost an edge otherwise all in good condition. "Everlasting" real leaves, certainly still good after 120 years! Royal Fusiliers 1st Version Other Ranks Shoulder Title converted to Sweetheart Brooch
A clever adaption of the early two piece shoulder title with the small RF letters below now attached to the grenade which would have been worn above separately, lugs now removed and the whole attached to a functional c clasp pin fitting. Some staining to the gilding metal finish as a result of the conversion but nicely done.

22nd Foot (Cheshire Regiment) Silver Regimental Medal of Merit
In very good NEF condition with no edge knocks or polishing. Unnamed as issued. Issued in silver for 14 years good conduct. Such medals were replaced in the 1850s by the issue of the Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Silver dark toned. Often found unofficially mounted with a suspender but this has not been so modified. Scarce.
