Canadian Militia - 96th Lake Superior Regiment Cap Badge - Hicks
A superb large chocolate brown die struck cap badge with two original loops to the reverse with makers disc Hicks & Sons London to the reverse.
The unit was given this title in 1905 and dropped the 96th in 1920. They were mobilised in August 1914 for local protective duty.

Gilt and enamel lapel badge with buttonhole fitting makers details for Dingley Birmingham. The king's crown to the centre of a white enamelled circlet bearing the title, " On War Service Fairfield " Based on the River Clyde in Glasgow Fairfield 's were well known ship-builders. In very good condition, a few slight stress mark in enamel, but intact and gilt bright.

Gloucestershire Regiment Other Rank's Bi-Metal Helmet Plate Centre (HPC)
A bi-metal helmet plate centre for the Gloucestershire Regiment with two side staple-style loop fastenings remaining (adapted for wear on the glengarry). Some verdigris staining to front circlet otherwise in good overall condition. Worn on the glengarry until 1895 with a separate crown above. Also worn with a back badge unique to this Regiment.
