A theatre cast brass badge, with the regimental number, '17', above a scroll bearing the title, 'Dogras', surmounted by a King's Crown. Two original integral fixing loops. Circa 31mm tall. A maker's name to reverse of scroll, parly obliterated by bottom fixing, but looks like 'D. C. & Son". Worn circa 1922-1950.

British Indian Army - 1st Punjab Regiment bi-metal Cap Badge, pre 1953
This cap badge is of two part construction and of Indian manufacture, gilding metal star and crown with a white metal central mounted riveted device, with two original tombstone style fixings to reverse (north - south, cap to centre of each tab circa 27mm).
