This has been re-gilded and converted to a sweetheart, now missing its fixing pin but fairly easily restorable with a replacement pin.

Ceylon (Sri Lanka) Chromed Police Waist Belt Clasp (WBC), circa 1948 - 1972
A chromed white metal example, with a fair amount of surface wear and scratching to the chrome finish and missing the free-floating retaining loop. This pattern of crown believed to have been adopted post 1948 with independence from Great Britain, changing its name to the Republic of Sri Lanka in 1972. Scarce.
