WW1 Liverpool Pals Sterling Silver Sweetheart Brooch Pin Badge
A rare original Great War period 'Liverpool Pals' Sterling silver sweetheart badge, a miniature version of the cap badge and bearing the crest of Lord Derby and motto 'Sans Changer'; the reverse impressed with "Sterling" and the maker's details "TLM" (Thomas Lynton Mott). Very good condition, complete with original and functional pin fittings. An excellent example. Circa 31mm tall.

RMS Orduna (Pacific Steam Navigation Company) Enamel and Gilt Sweetheart Pin Brooch Badge
SS Orduna built in 1914 by Harland & Wolff for the Pacific Steamship Navigation Company (PSNCo) for use on the Latin American routes shipping mail and passengers. After two voyages she was chartered to Cunard Line during the Great War. In 1921 she went to the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, then being resold to the PSNCo in 1926.
