Die struck white metal motto NCO arm motto with two original loops to reverse. Lugs look to have been plated at some point so most probably silver plate version. Circa 48mm high and 41mm wide.

WW1 South African Mounted Rifles (SAMR) Brass Cap Badge, 1913 - 1922
Die struck gilding metal cap badge with slider. Two original loops neatly removed and the slider a replacement, possibly for wear in the pagri folds of the tropical sun helmet. Traces of polish but still with sharp detail and scarce.

West African - Gold Coast Defence Force (Volunteers) Officers Gilt Collar Badge, c1927 - 1939
Die cast gilt collar badge with neatly cut red felt backing and two original loops to the reverse. Circa 3cms tall. Minor service wear to gilt and one tear in the backing cloth around a lug otherwise in good condition and scarce. Possibly also worn in this size on the side cap.

This pattern was introduced with the change of title and was sealed from 1924 onwards until a smaller pattern of this design was introduced towards the end of WW2. In good condition with original slider.
