Westmorland & Cumberland Yeomanry Other Ranks Gilding Metal Cap Badge
An original and attractive gilt washed brass cap badge with original slider to reverse. A good stiff badge, nicely domed with sharp detail and in very good condition. The design is three sprigs of heather within an oval band surrounded by laurel wreaths with a king 's crown above. This pattern discarded in the early 1920s when the unit adopted the Royal Artillery cap badge.

This pattern of cypher relating to George V and as worn 1911 - 1935, a large die cast gilt cap badge with two original lugs to reverse, UK made. Gilt bright. Circa 4.9cms tall. Fire gilt finish superb. Mounted on red felt backing for display. Together with a single "Staff" gilt shoulder title which is in equally good condition.
