King's crown and only worn for a couple of years (1902 - 1904). This regiment had a rapidly changing series of cap badges post 1904 until it settled on the all white metal pattern. 13th/18th Hussars Staybrite Anodised Aluminium Cap Badge - Beewyse London
A very rare badge made by Beewyse London, a maker most often associated with Middle East badges. I have seen a Wessex Brigade Staybrite of their manufacture, but only one example and never of any other British Army Badge until encountering this one. Slight wear to finish on the front but otherwise in very good condition. I have photographed it alongside the Firmin example separately listed. ... read more

7th Queen's Own Hussars NCO's White Metal Arm Badge on Correct Scarlet Felt Backing
As worn until 1958, this is in white metal with two original loops NS to the reverse (one bent slightly downwards) with scarlet felt backing. A St Edward's (QEII) crown was never worn by the 7H. Circ... read more

This tally has been worn but is in very good condition.

WW2 Early HM Destroyer Royal Navy Ratings Cap Tally
An original embroidered gold thread on black silk ribbon, with swallow tail ends and circa 35 inches ( 68cm ) in length. These "anonymous" cap tallies were intended to ensure that the enemy could not work out which warship was where. Note the full stops.
The tiny white spot in the photo is not a mark on the tally, it was a spec of thread which brushed off.
