'Ike' - American General Eisenhower reviews a smart looking British army regular battalion (most probably DCLI)

Top brass (RAF ) accompany American General Dwight D. ( Ike ) Eisenhower as he inspects a fine looking body of troops. Not sure which regiment. Post WW2 photo / postcard with blank reverse. In very good condition. Pre 1953. Later the 34th President of the USA.

A few moth grazes especially to the rear cloth, hard to see in the photos, one larger hole to rear of one arm (see photo) and paper label all but gone. Incorrect buttons to front and missing metal shoulder titles. Never fitted with collar badges. A very rare tunic only worn in this pattern for about one year. A fine silver plated example. Two circular two piece discs in silver showing silver strung bugles at centre with outer turned rope surrounds. At rear three loop attachments (one slightly bent over). Pre WW1 British Army Drummers Scarlet Tunic Jacket

In remarkable condition for age, complete with all general service buttons, unlined. No label so unable to date precisely but this looks like a circa 1913 pattern tunic to me.
