Early 8th Battalion Durham Light Infantry ( DLI ) Blazer Badge
Looking at the age of this I would date this to between the wars. Really nice to get a battalion number. The 8th Territorial Battalion had there HQ in Durham. Some ragging to the edges but a nicely woven white on black backing cloth badge.

Indian Army - QVC Victorian Bengal Medical Service White Metal Pagri Badge
A quite stunning badge, heavy solid struck in one piece in what looks like unmarked Indian silver with original pagri fitting. Circa 6.7cms tall. The VRI monogram (adopted in 1877) is riveted to the centre and the casting is very fine but most probably locally made in India. A pair of bi-metal colour badges, not an exact colour match but in all other respects they display well together and each has two original dark toned lugs to the reverse of each. British made shoulder title with two original loops to the reverse. Appears to be silver plated. Worn circa 1889-1947. In very good condition but with some light wear to silvered finish.
