WW2 USA American Shoulder Sleeve Insignia (SSI) Patch - European Theatre of Operations, Advanced Section (ETO) USA )

Removed from uniform, this patch is circa 9cm tall and looks to be original. Glue traces to the reverse. Some service wear but colours still bright and patch in good condition.

The patch was worn pointing downwards with the lightning breaking a chain symbolic of occupied Europe. This was the insignia of the Administrative H.Q. of the Amercian Forces in the UK - European Theatre of Operations Advanced Section, United States Army.
