2nd Pattern Rectangular, circa 5.2cm by 4cm. Removed from uniform but in very good condition. The red bells on a black background. Finely woven in silk.

WW2 - 14th Army Bullion Embroidered Formation Sign Designation Flash
Removed from uniform, a bit grubby and with some damage to bullion edging. Locally made in bullion as typically worn by officers. The roman numerals "XIV" (the sword on this one constitutes the I in XIV) on a black bar and pierced by a sword on a red shield.
The exploits of the men of 14th Army are legendary, fighting in some of the worst conditions and terrains of the war.

As worn, a scarce embroidered example of the white Star and Crescent within Arabic script on a circular background of red black and green. In very good condition. Worn 1958 - 1969. The mission was very small. In 1958 it consisted of only 10 officers, 12 SNCOs and 12 administrative ORs. Rare.
