This is a WW2 printed cloth formation sign badge to the 80th INFANTRY DIVISION (Jon Mills BoBD 1157) in excellent unworn condition. This badge was made by “Calico Printers”. This one with the ship facing left. One previously sold facing right as my item 65442.

In very condition. Padded centre with the shield and cannons in bullion wire which was worn by officers of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps attached to the War Office. Davis describes as 'very rare'.

A white winged figure of Victory standing before four white points (The needles of the Isle of Wight) all on a blue ground (commemorating the ports which launched the D-Day invasion). This example faces right and has been removed from uniform. Some minor staining otherwise in good overall condition. As worn from 1945 - 1948.

Original printed formation sign, removed from uniform but in good overall condition. Some minor staining but otherwise colours bright.
