A scarce mufti lapel badge to a very specific territorial unit of the Yorkshire RAMC. Enamel in undamaged condition, gilt bright, pin fixings original and fully functional. A small badge at circa 2.8cms tall. Scarce.
Attached to the 49th West Riding Division and saw service in France including at the Somme.

Popular in the WW1 as gifts to the troops, a superbly detailed 3D (three old pence) silver coin which as been adapted to carry a completely legible engraving of the full length version of the Lords Prayer. A large bronze die cast cap badge of two part construction with two original loops to the reverse. A scarce original First World War 1914 period 'Surrey 1914 badge'; brass circular example with embossed lettering. Good condition but sadly lacking its original pin fitting the back has been scratched with names of the volunteer. It looks like: "W. Avery, RND, Sutton Rosebury G.A.?". circa 2.1cm in diameter.
