Early / Victorian Royal Welsh Fusiliers RWF Brass Metal Shoulder Title

A genuine two letter title (not cut down) with two original hexagonal fixing loops to the reverse. Circa 23mm wide and 11.5mm tall. In very good condition. Rare.

Westlake claims this two letter title was worn until 1898 after which the title was changed to RWF.

Removed from beret / cap. Backing paper absent, tarnish to silver plate finish on the dragon and also to the gold bullion threads, red felt backing some fading but in good condition. Circa 4.5cms tall including backing. In good worn condition.

Sudan Kordofan Province Police / Officials Cap / Pagri Officers Silver (local hallmarks) Cast 3D Cap Badge

A silver locally hallmarked 3D badge of two part construction with two original silver loops to the reverse. Two native (Arabic) hallmarks to the reverse of the base of the Kudu's head and one to the reverse of the base of the circlet. Circa 4.3cms tall and 2.4cms wide.
