The Worcestershire Regiment Officers OSB Bronze Cap Badge, 1902 - 1923
A die cast bronze voided cap badge comprising a star and with a circular garter enclosing a lion. A scroll inscribed "FIRM" on the lower part of the star and and larger scroll inscribed "Worcestershire" below. Two original blades to the reverse. Circa 5.3cms wide and 4.2cms tall. Good colour with and in very good condition. Scarce.

Possibly one of the NCO sleeve badges produced in October 1999 for The Queen's Royal Lancers, which were rejected and the majority returned. A cloth badge was chosen instead. At least one badge was worn by the Provost Sergeant on his brassard. A large bi-metal badge with four original loops and in unissued condition.

Post 1922 Officers small size silver plated / gilt and enamel cap badge with two long loops. An acorn with leaves on a ground of green enamel to the centre of a circlet bearing the title, upon a multi-rayed hob-nail star. Very slight twist to one lug otherwise in superb condition.

WW2 Cheshire Regiment Plastic Economy Cap Badge - Blades
In good condition with minimal distortion to the cellulose acetate plastic (sometimes incorrectly described as Bakelite). Blades original but one appears to have been strengthened with glue and the other shows a fracture mark, so recommend these are not opened. Sold as seen, no returns on this item.

WW2 Official Canada / Canadian Mercantile Marine / Merchant Navy Navy Silver Lapel Badge
A lovely example with pin and retaining nut.
The Canadian government created the badge in 1941 to recognize the service of Canada's merchant mariners, most of whom wore civilian clothing ashore because they had no uniforms. In 1948, the Canadian government extended eligibility to Canadian merchant mariners who had served in Allied merchant ships.
