Korean War vintage United Nations ( UN ) Peacekeeper 's Beret with Enamel UN Badge
The vendor told me this was the property of a Royal Northumberland Fusilier who served in Korea, which would date it to the early 1950s. Unfortunately he could not recall the chap's name. Printed Coat of Arms for Durham Cloth Formation Sign - RA & Mobile Defence Corps
An unissued printed example of the blue and gold shield representing the Arms of the Bishopric of Durham intended to be worn by the 55th Searchlight Regiment Royal Artillery. Permission was refused so the sign was later worn by the 17th (Tyne and Wear) Battalion Mobile Defence Corps. Rare.

This is a scarce First World War bronze numbered volunteer regimental fund raisers award badge, with the number '2573' engraved on the reverse. A similar pattern but larger, and without the kings crown above the coronet, was worn by A & SH officers on the Boer war slouch hat. Circa 3.1cm tall and with original and functional pin fitting to the reverse. Scarce.
