7th ( Princess Royal's ) Dragoon Guards Victorian / Edwardian White Metal Cap Badge

A very light and die struck issue with three original lugs to the reverse. Worn circa 1898 until 1906 only. It was then replaced by a different pattern in brass. Also worn as the Sergeants and Senior Sergeants Arm badge.

Victorian King 's Shropshire Light Infantry ( KSLI ) Left Facing Bronze Metal Collar Badge, 1881 - 1887

A left facing die struck bronze metal collar badge with two original lugs to the reverse of each. According to the Museum, as cited by Churchill, they were unpopular with the Regiment and only worn for one year, 1881 - 1882, even though the pattern that replaced them was not sealed until 1887. A wire-embroidered gold bullion thread Regimental cloth arm badge in unissued condition.

Worn as an arm badge by WOs & SNCOs on Mess Dress. The motto "Qui s'y frotte, s'y brule" translates as "Touch me, and you burn". It commemorates 9th RTR for their services in WW1.

Crowned Garter resting in four-part scroll “Queen’s Own Corps of Guides”, VR to voided centre field service cap badge. UK made, die cast, with two original long silvered loops to the reverse. Stamped "Sterling" to reverse of crown. Circa 3.3cms tall. Silver dark toned, almost black, and some dried polish in voids otherwise in very good condition.
