Scarce UK made version with slider with correct stamping to reverse of slider for J W Tiptaft / Birmingham. In very good condition. Do not be fooled by the Queen's crown (the clue is in the title), this is a WW1 period badge.

Victorian East Africa - The Uganda Rifles Officers Gilt Brass Helmet Cap Badge
In very good condition with two original dark toned loops to the reverse. Circa 5.8cm tall. Gilt has dulled but otherwise in excellent condition and only worn 1895 - 1902. From 1902 onwards they became a King's African Rifles Battalion. There would only have been a handful of officers. Rare.

24mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked Firmin & Sons Ld, London. Appears to have been plated. In very good condition. QVC crown so pre 1902. Post 1908 they became the 14th Battalion, The London Regiment (TF).

Two original lugs to reverse. Note the initials VRC. Often found blackened, but this has always been gilt. Scarce Badge. In very good condition, worn circa 1905-08 only.
It bears the four shields of the Inns within laurel wreath bearing a four part scroll `South Africa 1900 1901` with scroll across the base inscribed `Inns of Court VRC`. read more

Charterhouse School Officer Training Corps (OTC) (Godalming, Surrey) Matched Pair of Facing Collar Badges
A facing pair of collar badges (as worn from 1908 - 1920) with two original loops and despite all being in a bronze finish one is clearly an overlay scroll of the Queen's West Surrey Regiment with braising holes to the reverse. Presumably a clever re-use of an existing Queen's West Surrey badge die. Same design as cap badge but smaller at circa 38mm wide and 30mm tall. In very good condition.

White Other Ranks Busby Plume - Generic - A number of regiments / corps possible
A white (now off white) plume for wear on the bearskin or busby. Other ranks issue. Circa 18cms tall and 5cms wide. Inside the plume is a brass wire hook for securing the the busby or bearskin hat. Presumably horse hair. There is a small horizontal black mark towards the base on the outer face of the plume otherwise in very good condition.

WW2 FANY Women's Transport Service Bronze Cap Badge
Die cast with two original loops and maker marked Gaunt London. Found with blades and loops in this size which is the all ranks cap badge and is circa 35mm in diameter. Collars were of the same pattern but smaller. With original backing maroon cloth square.
Many members served with SOE etc. including famous brave agents Odette Sansom GC and Tanya Szabo.
