This is a bit shorter and taller than the Gaunt version (as listed as my item 65892). In good condition (some black marks to Letter "R", with two original loops (some twisting but fully functional). Circa 5.3cms wide and 1.5cms tall. No maker marks to reverse. Scarce.

A photo of a grave stone in an unidentified Tweedmouth church graveyard (although I beleive they were methodists) commemorating Norman Elliot of the 2nd Royal Scots who fell in France aged 19 on the 12th October 1918 and who was interred at Philosophe Military Cemetery (in Pas de Calais, France).
