Dug condition, but still with strong original shank. Traces of original silver plate mainly to reverse. Maker details to reverse but too worn to decipher. Flat and circa 16mm in diameter. '1' above an 'S' in the centre of a rayed star. Scarce.

British Army - GHQ ALFSEA / SEALF / FARELF Printed Cloth Formation Designation Sign
Original printed formation sign in unissued condition. Colours bright.
During wartime it was ALFSEA (Allied Land Forces South East Asia), then worn by SEALF (HQ South East Asia Land Forces) which succeeded ALFSEA in December 1946. Changed again on 15th August 1947 to FARELF ( Far Eastern Land Forces (British Army)), but with no change to formation sign design.

Scots Guards Other Ranks Full Dress Ceremonial Waist Belt
White Buff leather belt with all its brass fixings including a matching brass Waist Belt Clasp (maker marked). the thistle and motto to centre of the WBC has been polished, as one would expect from a smart guardsman. Inside of belt various ink annotations and stamps, most notably 9884 Madden. Given it also as a NATO stock number this is post WW2.

A fine Victorian die stamped brass 1878 pattern blue cloth helmet plate to the Royal Artillery. The Royal Arms, with piercing around the shield, with Dieu Et Mon Droit scroll below . Below a scroll inscribed Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt. Two of two toned loops to the reverse. Royal Welch Fusiliers Other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge with plume holder fitting
A reasonably recent badge as worn until 2009 (with this spelling of Welch since 1920). In very good condition. Nice to see with metal prongs and plume holder for a better looking fit on the blue beret. Worn with the white hackle.
