A quality die cast two part construction cap badge with original slider to reverse (sic - yes slider). Slider maker marked JR Gaunt London (no full stop and the J poorly struck). Gilt bright and no wear to silver St George and the dragon.

In good used condition, no tears, annotations, or creases. 56 pages of line drawings of buttons and a number of lovely coloured plates by military artists.
Yeomanry described County by County with 354 illustrations. There is also a small addendum to Rifle Volunteer Buttons 1859-1908 (Special Number, 1996).

WW1 Special Constable Medal (GV - Crowned Head) with 'Great War 1914-18' clasp -Walter Key
In very good condition with original ribbon and award bar for WW1 service. Correctly impressed.

A second pattern castle (standard pattern) die cast cap badge of two part riveted construction as worn by officers in No 1 Dress from 1902, in good worn condition with long loops (some signs of service wear) and stamped P to reverse for Silver Plate. Good sharp detail to front.

Northamptonshire Regiment Militia 3rd and 4th Battalions 'Horseshoe' Pattern Large Curved Brass Shoulder Title
A large title with two original loops to the reverse, similiar to the horseshoe design of one of the badges of the Northampton and Rutland Regiments of Militia. A touch of verdigris to the S otherwise in very good condition. Scarce.
