WW1 Tribute Medal - Ashington (Northumberland) Silver Watch Fob Medallion
A good original circa 1919 unnamed Great War Tribute medal for the returned 'Ashington Town Sailors & Soldiers' Northumberland. The obverse within a laurel wreath titled circlet an embossed scene of a kneeling Soldier aiming his rifle and Sailor peering through his telescope, with a mine pithead in the background; the reverse impressed 'SILVER' and with unusual makers details 'Ce & Fd Ld' (Constantine & Floyd Ltd Birmingham). In good condition, with small ring mounted at the top for suspension as a Watch Fob. Circa 2.8cm in diameter.
