WW1 Home Front Middlesex Volunteer Regiment (VTC) Bronzed Cap Badge
A scarce die struck cap badge in a bronzed gilding metal finish to the Middlesex Volunteer Regiment, (Volunteer Training Corps) which was later to become the 1st - 7th Volunteer Battalions of the Middlesex Regiment. Two original connector style loops to the reverse (typical of those used by Fattorini in WW1). Circa 51mm tall and 47 mm wide.

Taunton ( Somerset ) Volunteers Tunic Button, circa 1794 - 1802 ( Revolutionary / Napoleonic Wars)
Scarce, circa 22mm in diameter. Flat button with shank still in tact but fragile and with one crack. Excavated condition, but better than one usually finds. Some small splits, copper, would originally have been gilt washed. Worn circa 1794 - 1802. A rare and really attractive hollow sterling silver hallmarked ornate sweetheart brooch to the HLI . 4cm in diameter, with original pin and clasp, with full hallmarks (Birmingham 1891) and maker's marks.
