A WW1 issue die struck cap badge worn only 1917-18 by the Guards Machine Gun Battalion with original slider. Much reproduced, this is a genuine example in very good condition with original slider. A good stiff badge, well made. Circa 5cm by 5.1cm. Scarce. Redesignated 8th May 1918 as the Guards Machine Gun Regiment.

Boer War Era Mafeking / Lord Baden-Powell Wire Brooch
This excellent Boer War era brooch has been hand fashioned from a gilded wire into the name ‘Mafeking’ and a small photo of Lord Baden-Powell fitted into a glass fronted pendant suspended below, the quality of the piece is excellent as is the condition, it measures just under 1.75 long and is just over 1.25 deep.
