"The Dear Dolly" Series of Postally Used Boer War Generals Original Postcards
A series of postally used postcards, all addressed to "Dear Dolly" from Harry, and all sent in 1904 from London to an Eastbourne Address. All a bit grubby and all sepia, postally used and one each for Lt-Col Baden Powell, General Sir Redvers Buller, Sir George White VC and Major General Lord Kitchener. A set of three original post cards depicting different scenes of the aftermath of the Royal Navy's raid on Zeebrugge on St George's Day, 23rd April 1918. Postally unused and in good condition. Taken by a Brussels photographer.
