A large die struck badge circa 64mm high by 42mm across. An exploding grenade with a towed field gun facing right over Southern Cross stars on the centre ball and surrounded by a wreath. A gilt and silver plated die cast example of two part riveted construction with two original loops and maker marked LB&B (London Badge & Button Company). Some slight service wear to gilt on lion's main otherwise a very good example with no damage to delicate bits / lance tips.

With all four original brass staple style loops. Some loss of detail from polishing to the central lion and a touch of verdigris to front right laurel leaves otherwise in good overall condition. Worn 1881 - 1914 on the Helmet Plate Centre and, until 1895, on the Glengarry.

WW2 Home Front - SX Sussex Home Guard Printed cloth County Designation Shoulder Title
A SX for the County of Sussex printed home guard shoulder designation. Fold for wear, removed from uniform, but sadly not very well as a bad tear half way down between the S and X. Could be invisibly mended with tape from the reverse but I will leave that to the new owner. Sold as seen, no returns on this item.
