An officer's service dress bronzed cap badge with two original blades to the reverse. In very good condition.
The Corps was formed March 1917 and some 7000 members served in France.

RMS Orduna (Pacific Steam Navigation Company) Enamel and Gilt Sweetheart Pin Brooch Badge
SS Orduna built in 1914 by Harland & Wolff for the Pacific Steamship Navigation Company (PSNCo) for use on the Latin American routes shipping mail and passengers. After two voyages she was chartered to Cunard Line during the Great War. In 1921 she went to the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, then being resold to the PSNCo in 1926.

Enamel in good undamaged condition, with minor surface wear to the chrome finish. Two original lugs to the reverse and the letter 'M' stamped on the reverse of the King's crown ( perhaps for the maker Miller ? ). Circa 4.7cm tall and 4.1cm wide.

A good early and original Second World War period 'Auxiliary Fire Service cap badge'; die-cast chromium plated eight pointed star, with red enamel 'AFS' lettering to the centre. Good condition, complete with original two loop fittings (some bending but functional) and original chromed split pin, no damage to the enamel, minor service wear. A good original wartime issue 1940's onwards silver plated red enamel badge, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.M' (H.W. Miller) official issue number '182859'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.

WW1 Tribute Medal / Memorial Plaque to Durham Pals - from Manchester
According to the owner, this was given to the next of kin by the mine owners for those employees (miners) who died in WW1. I have never encountered another, but from the design it is clear that a space has been left for customising it to each recipient. In this example it is to a Jonathan Riding, Army Number 16068 of the 12th (Service) Battalion Durham Light Infantry (DLI).
