Indian Army - Bombay Light Patrol, White Metal Cap Badge

Of UK manufacture given it is die struck. Two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 3.9cms tall. In superb good condition. Post 1933.

Prior to 1933, known as the Bombay Light Horse, part of the cavalry reserve of the British Indian Army, . The badge was modified from "Horse" to Patrol" in 1933 to reflect their mechanisation as the Bombay Light Patrol.

A very fine unmarked silver & gilt officer's pagri cap badge to the 5th Probyns Horse, now an armoured regiment of the Pakistan Army. Original pin fixing and c clasp to the reverse (north-south). WW1 Crested China - Army Steel Helmet with Islay crest (where they make a very pleasant drop of malt whisky). Three edge nibbles to the back rim otherwise undamaged with no repairs. Scarce crest. Maker marked Porcelle, British made.

A scarce silver topped swagger stick top to the CIV with Queen Victoria crown and London coat of arms and the date 1900 below. Polish wear to detail on London coat of arms and silver dark toned. Hallmarked silver with London hallmarks and date letter 'e' for 1900. Scarce.

The Green Howards ( Alexandra, Princess of Wales's Own Yorkshire Regiment) (19th Foot) - 2nd Pattern Coronet Other Ranks White Metal Cap Badge

Die struck cap badge in good overall condition but with some rippling to badge. Original slider to reverse. This pattern worn from onwards about 1910 onwards with a a slider. Within the Regiment is was referred to as the "Eiffel Tower" badge.
