Cold War / National Service Home Front Volunteer Entertainment Services (VES) Northern Command Lapel Pin Enamel Badge

A post WW2 home front badge in white enamel and chrome, with original pin fitting and maker marked Fattorini Bradford. Some wear to the enamel in the form of some light scratches, but not damaged, and otherwise in good condition. Circa 2.7cm across. Scarce. Based on the second pattern Formation Sign for the Northern Command - East and West Riding Area (see my item 59803), which was authorised in September 1951.

However, this unit did have a WW2 existence but I believe this item to be post war, see:
