I believe this is pre 1947 British Indian Army, but have now forgotten the unit. A large solid die cast bugle with two original brass loops to the reverse. Well made. 14th (Kings) Hussars Other Ranks Brass Cap Badge (2nd Type)
Introduced in 1915, this large pattern badge was unpopular and known rather disparagingly in the Regiment as the 'Cartwheel' badge. Found in various sizes, both voided and unvoided. This one is unvoided and in good condition with its original slider. Circa 4.3cms tall.
The Regiment were amalgamated in 1922 with the 20th Hussars.
