17/21st Lancers Cast White Metal NCO's Arm Motto / Chadd
A white metal possibly nickel or silver plated cast arm badge with two original loops to the reverse. It is a scarce pattern without "eyebrows" and a lot more teeth than other examples (nine in total). it also has a particular rounded semi circular scroll bearing the motto "Or Glory". British Army tropical dress parachutist badge, die struck with D shaped lugs correctly centred and correct distant apart. Good detail front and back. As introduced and worn from mid 1950s. Worn on the sleeve of No3 Tropical Dress. Also worn on the chef's whites of a very few parachute trained chefs.

As worn by all ranks of the Regiment between 1924 and 1950. One of a number of patterns, this one matching 5GR F17G (see below). Circa 23mm tall and 21mm wide. Two original loops. Some service wear to black finish otherwise in good condition.

Circa 22mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked "P & S Firmin, 153 Strand, London" (this mark format was only used between 1835- 1849). In near mint condition. Stock photo as more than one available and all of equal quality. This button was worn from 1830 - 1843. Rare.
