A heavily die struck silver plated glengarry badge with two original loops to the reverse. Hint of maker's mark but too feint to read. This pattern as worn circa 1948 - 1953 identified by having the feet 'wide apart'.

WW2 Home Front Salvage Steward's Red Plastic Badge

Red plastic badge with pin to reverse. Maker's name F&G. In good condition with slight fading to red with age, but no distortion evident. Circa 3.1cm tall. Introduced in 1942, the red coloured badges were worn by part-time stewards appointed by local authorities.

This brass shoulder title was worn by Officer Cadets circa 1914. The Vict Coll & OTC are brazed together. It would have been worn abovea separate curved brass 'Jersey' (no longer present, but easily added). In good condition loops squeezed, and one loop is damaged / fractured but still functional. Scarce.

In 1908 the Leeds based 3rd Volunteer Battalion, West Yorkshire Regt became two separate Battalions - 7 & 8th (Territorial) Bn's, West Yorkshire Regt. Both had the title "Leeds Rifles" but had separate designs for their cap badges.
