Die struck in gilding metal with two original loops to the reverse (one slightly bent). The larger pattern at circa 5.1cms tall. In very good condition with sharp detail. Gaylor (p90) confirms found in two sizes. A vertically worn, 2 part collar badge in silver plate and gilt, in good worn condition with some polishing from service wear and with two original loops to the reverse. Loops seem quite long so possibly also as worn on the forage cap.

Of two part construcion with two original loops to reverse. This is in excellent condition and has a real quality to it. No damage to enamel and maker marked Ludlow, London. Quite a hard badge to find as worn for two years only between 1947 and 1949, so post WW2.

Scottish Lothians & Berwick Horse Imperial Yeomanry Other Ranks Large Pattern Brass Button

Circa 24.5mm in diameter. fixed shank, maker marked Hobson & Son's, London W. Looks to be of other ranks quality but in very good condition with sharp detail.

Styled as the Lothians and Berwickshire Yeomanry Cavalry from 1888 until 1908 (including being styled as Imperial Yeomanry until 1908). Thereaffter title and button design changed to Lothians and Border Horse.
