A rare pre 1902 issue. The bullion thickly padded, removed from uniform, some pulls to wire and it looks like the central vertical strut on the padded red velvet crown is missing otherwise in reasonable condition for age and with original paper backing. A rare item.

The phrase here has to be " lovingly polished " and has therefore lost a lot of detail. An early pattern cap badge on two original lugs which have some signs of service wear.

A Victorian issue cap / collar badge with two original brass toned loops to the reverse. Churchill confirms that this small pattern badge, which was also worn as a collar, was latterly fitted with a slider for wear on the Brodrick Cap 1898-1905 (p42 of the "History of The British Army Infantry Collar Badge" refers). Some polishing to highpoints otherwise in good condition.

A good early example of the ' tram conductors ' badge, with two original lugs to the reverse. A good stiff badge with sharp detail, but some dried polish and a tiny solder repair to the lion's tail, which shows slight damage but otherwise in good condition.

In good condition (slight polishing to acorn) with two original dark toned loops to the reverse with large braising / sweat/ expansion hole to the centre of the reverse. Gaylor confirms an all brass WW1 economy version. This pattern worn until 1922. See item 60066 for a slidered version.

A good stiff die struck bi-metal cap badge with two dark toned loops to reverse, three sweat / braising holes to the reverse of the scroll, one lug slightly bent with service wear. Sharp detail and in good condition. This pattern worn until 1919, but replaced with the long Brodrick cap slider in circa 1903.
