A heavy cast gilt brass valise badge for The Worcestershire Regiment with the usual 'box' fastening. Some minor wear to gilt finish on bottom rays otherwise in great condition and rare.

A most attractive badge, die struck with two original dark toned lugs to the reverse and a number of braising / sweat / expansion holes to the reverse of the A. Some slight twisting to lugs otherwise in very good condition. This pattern worn until circa 1908.
