A good scarce bronzed brass example on short slider. Worn by the 38th, 40th and 42nd Jewish Battalions of the Royal Fusiliers which were raised later in the First World War in 1917, otherwise known as the Jewish Legion. A good scarce die-stamped bi-metal example on slider, with two expansion holes behind the slider.

Following the establishment of the Irish Free State in 1922, the regimental Colours were received by King George V on 12th June at St. Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle; formal disbandment followed on 31st July, 1922.
