WW1 Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consorts Own) White Metal Other Rank's Cap Badge - Larger Pattern

Die struck white metal badge with original slider. Some polishing which makes reading the battle honours a little challenging but this is only light polishing.

Worn 1910 - 1937, carrying 16 battle honours (fourteen on the scroll) - 15 Peninsula War battle honour scrolls and Waterloo. The inner circlet is inscribed "Rifle Brigade". (The regiment was finally entitled to 16 battle honours for the Peninsular war but "Pyrenees" was not granted until 1910 - after the badge was designed).
