WW1 Black Watch (The Royal Highland Regiment) Pair of Brass Shoulder Titles
A matched pair of small lettered RH shoulder titles with two original hexagonal style fixings to the reverse of each. Circa 1.1cm tall. Minor service wear and some damage to lugs, but still fully functional and otherwise in very good condition. Worn until 1921 only, from when they were replaced with the letters BW.

A brass shoulder title with two original hexagonal style fixings to the reverse. In very good condition.
Formed in 1900, only five of the eight battalions envisaged were ever raised and none had any personnel after March 1906.

According to Westlake this pattern was introduced by Army Order 509 of 1920, but at the time of publication could find you photographic evidence of it being worn. Two original loops to the reverse. In good condition.

Scarce Tyneside Irish Shoulder Title - First Issue - maker marked Reid & Co Newcastle-on-Tyne
A gilding metal shoulder title central device (it would have had a single NF (for Northumberland Fusiliers ) and battalion number above (24, 25, 26, 27 or 30). Locally made for the Tyneside Irish in the early days of the First world war by the local goldsmiths, Reid & Co. Still in Newcastle to this day! Two original lugs (e-w) and in superb condition.
