"The Dear Dolly" Series of Postally Used Boer War Generals Original Postcards

A series of postally used postcards, all addressed to "Dear Dolly" from Harry, and all sent in 1904 from London to an Eastbourne Address. All a bit grubby and all sepia, postally used and one each for Lt-Col Baden Powell, General Sir Redvers Buller, Sir George White VC and Major General Lord Kitchener. Postally unused put pencil message to reverse. French maker. Some mild foxing to front but still in its original protective envelope. Used as a birthday greetings card for a Mr W Rodman, and addressed to a Miss Mary Rodman at 44 Sheffield Road, Woodhouse, Sheffield in Yorkshire. In very good condition for age with with the flags of the Allied Nations.
