WW1 Photo of Private Soldier Foreign Service Dress and Wolseley Helmet with Regimental Flash ( Suffolk Regiment ?)
Postally unused, matt finish, name Mrs E Harden to reverse. In very good condition. Crisp image, clothes equally crisp suggesting this was taken before departing overseas. Wolseley Helmet has large regimental flash visible to side. Looks like Suffolk Regiment to me but happy to be corrected. 1st Battalion went to Egypt in 1915 having had a very hard time of it at Ypres.

It would be nigh impossible today to put together a collection as comprehensive as this. I will let the photos speak for themselves. Those on the squared grid card are glued down.
