A Comet Tank takes the salute (gun dipped) at the saluting platform, with the officer identified on the reverse as 2nd Lt Oliver (Kowloon). A 66 year old image - in very good condition. A poignant image given the late Queen's recent 100 birthday celebrations and the loss of Hong Kong as a British colony and the withdrawal of the Comet Tank from service in 1958/1959.. WW1 RAMC Royal Army Medical Corps Group Embarked for Distant Climes
A group photo of a company of RAMC soldiers embarked on a ship to who know where. Some good images of insignia, including a wound strip. The central figure seems to be a foreign soldier, highly decorated. Most unusual and an interesting story here no doubt, now lost in time. Postally unused. Light staining to reverse otherwise in very good condition.
