Original postcard - unidentified Naval Officer in sun helmet

Wears a cap badge on front of sun helmet, but cannot make this out. Two naval style rings on sleeve. Medal ribbons. Looks military but not sure this is British. Any information welcome. Postally unused and in good condition.
