WW1 Canada - 30th Battalion CEF Shoulder Title- maker marked Tiptaff, Birmingham
Given Tiptaff made many Canadian badges, this is most probably Canadian. But it could equally serve as a stand in for a Tyneside Irish 30th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers numeral (althougth not of the correct pattern).
Two original loops to the reverse. Circa 1.9cm wide and 1.3cm tall. Back stamped Tipftaff B'Ham in very small neat letters. UK made.

An attractive die struck example of UK manufacture with three original copper loops to reverse. Gilding metal is bright and is in unissued condition. All fiddly bits present and correct. Pre 1950. Rare.

WW1 Indian Army - 55th Coke's Rifles (Frontier Force) Officer's White Metal Forage Cap Badge
A theatre cast white metal cap badge in the form of a Maltese Cross surmounted by a King's Crown, with the regimental number, '55', within a circlet inscribed 'Frontier Force Rifles'. The arms of the cross are decorated, have spherical terminals and are supported by four lions. A scroll with a bugle below bears the word, 'Coke's'. Two original copper loops. Cast with flat back and two original loops, a gilding metal brass cap badge depicting a pelican surmounted by a star and crescent, the whole surrounded by a date palm wreath, with a scroll below, inscribed 'Bahawalpur Regiment'.
