Palestine Police Large Flat Silver Pated White Metal Button, Kings Crown
Circa 23mm in diameter, flat backed with fixed shank, and maker marked Firmin London. In very good condition, but tarnished and could do with a light clean. Worn from 1920 until the end of British rule in 1948.

WW2 8th Gurkha Rifles Felt Slouch Hat Badge on Correct Red Cloth Patch Backing
Blackened brass cap badge on its original red square cloth backing as worn by all ranks on the Gurkha felt hat, complete with cotter pin. Some moth damage to top right edge, and behind the 8 on the badge, and some glue to reverse where removed from a display board. A splendid worn example, been there, done that! As worn from 1930s onwards.

Official issues for wear by officers and other ranks had the 7 separate from the crossed kukris. This particular example was believed to be a pattern worn by followers or servants of the regiment. Black cord boss with silver plated cast metal device, as worn from 1916 - 1953. Boss circa 26mm in diameter, badge circa16mm across. Retaining wires twisted downwards. In good condition.

5th Gurkha Rifles Officer's Black Ball Button, 1927 - 1947
Circa 18mm in diameter, fixed shank, blank reverse. Black composition button. This pattern with Royal Crest above came into service in 1927 and was worn until 1947. In very good condition.

Cold War - 97th Army Group Royal Artillery (AGRA) Printed Cloth Formation Sign Flash Patch Badge
In unissued condition. Rare, a very shortlived sign, authorised in May 1949 and disappearing with the demise of the AGRAs in December 1950. Depicts local connections with the statue of Eros in Piccadilly in red on a black square. Worn in facing pairs, this one facing to the left. Rare.
