The monogram of Princess Victoria (PV) together with her coronet under an Egyptian sphinx and a blank tablet (blank as manufacturer's found the device too small to include the word "Egypt). The 1st Punjab Regiment was a regiment of the British Indian Army from 1922 to 1947. It was transferred to the Pakistan Army on Partition of India in 1947.

4th ( Uganda ) Battalion King's African Rifles ( KAR ) Officer's OSD Cap Badge, pre 1930
Raised in 1902, this is the pre 1930 pattern. with both the Arabic numeral for the number 4 in the centre of the bugle and the number 4 below. Die cast in bronze, originally blackened, with two original integral lugs to the reverse. The K on King appears to have been miss-struck otherwise in good condition. Very scarce. read more
