Small F.S. Cap badge, possibly also worn as a collar badge, circa 1.9cm tall and 2.3cm wide, in excellent condition with two original silvered lugs to the reverse. Maker marked JRG & S ( JR Gaunt & Son) with hallmark letter Anchor, lion and Date letter V for Birmingham 1945. Scarce.

A scarce regular DLI Officer's shoulder shirt sleeve order slip-on epaulette, early 1950s, worn post war and during the Korean War era. Genuine and very good condition, with no mothing. Title circa 6.5cm wide and 1.8cm high. Queen's crown rank crown would date this particular item to post 1952.

WW1 Single Bullion on Khaki Wound Stripe
The award of a wound stripe to a soldier was introduced in July 1916 it entitled the man to wear a two inch Russian gold bullion braid sewn to the left sleeve of a jacket, as this proved very hard to keep clean and shiny solid brass stripes replaced them, this indicates that this example is from early on in the Great War. Royal Corps of Signals Officers Bullion Cap Badge, King's Crown
Removed from cap, a scarce king's crown bullion wire embroidered officer's cap badge, pre 1952. It depicts the figure of Mercury in silver wire above the blue backed motto scroll surmounted by the crown all on a black backing. Worn condition but overall still a good example. Circa 5.2cm tall including backing.
