A die struck bi-metal collar badge with two original dark toned lugs to the reverse, "QUEENS LANCERS" to scroll. Only worn for two years with a Kings Crown before the scroll was changed to read "THE QUEENS LANCERS". Circa 3.2cm tall. Scarce.

WW2 Norway - Free Norwegian Forces 1943-44 Birmingham hallmarked silver cap badge
An excellent die-cast example on silver loops. Within an oak wreath, crowned cypher of King Haakon VII. Maker marked JRG & S (JR Gaunt & Sons) and Date letter T for 1943-44. Circa 3.6cm in diameter. Scarce.

A scarce ORIGINAL circa 1939 to 1946 period 'Entertainments National Service Association bronze cap badge'; designed by 'Sir Edwin Lutyens PRA' in the form of a stylized inverted triangle with central initial 'E' with NSA to each arm, the reverse retaining original pin fitting. Very good condition although a stock number has been painted to the reverse. Circa 2.5cms tall.

WW2 Middle East / East African Theatre - E (English Speaker) Dark Blue Embroidered E on Khaki Drill Cloth Panel Proficiency / Trade Badge
A similar pattern but on a red disc was worn by Indian Troops, but given this is sewn on KD most likely worn by native troops with a good command of English in the Middle East / North African or East African campaigns. Panel is square and 5cms x 5cms. In good condition with some glue marks / paper stuck to reverse. Scarce.

Removed from uniform, in good condition and colours still bright. Worn until 1941 only.
With the change of ARP to CD in 1941, the ARP badge was dropped in favour of a yellow CD on blue/white fabric.
