Bi Metal die stuck cap badge on original slider with three braising / sweat / expansion holes to reverse of scroll. The Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Regiment (16th Foot) Other Ranks White Metal Cap Badge
In 1919, the design of the star was slightly altered the scroll was amended with the addition of "& Hertfordshire" to reflect the large number of men from that county who had also served amongst the Bedfords during WW1. It was also now all in white metal.

The Leicestershire Regiment (17th Foot) Victorian / Edwardian Issue Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge
Heavy die struck badge (tiger has all its stripes) with two original toned lugs and with five braising holes to reverse . A really good striking, some minor service wear to the lugs otherwise in very good condition.
