A first pattern SWB officially impressed 1639 awarded to Sergeant Samuel Chapman, DCLI. An unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre, to which a red felt backing has been added, presumably by the owner, so I have left this in place. In good condition, original C clasp and pin. Circa 32mm in diameter.

A and SH - Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders White on Red Woven Felt Cloth Shoulder Title

A and SH - Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders White on Red Woven Felt Cloth Shoulder Title

In very good condition, white mesh hessian backed. Some glue and paper traces to reverse. This is the scarcer pattern with "and" in place of "&". Pre 1943 and most probably an officer's issue given the existence of the economy printed version.

Davis No 346 refers (he categorises it as very rare).

Special Constabulary Long Service Medal (GV) - 3 Clasps!

Special Constabulary Long Service Medal (GV) - 3 Clasps!

Correctly impressed to George M Cusworth. A scarce 3 clasp issue with the Clasps 'The Great War 1914- 1918', 'Long Service 1929' and 'Long Service 1939'.

After the WW1 clasp, Long Service Clasps were issued for each 10 years of service. The clasps are neatly sewn to what appears to be a replacement ribbon.

In very good condition (NEF).

Scarce woven ribbon cockade "cap badge " with rusted pin fitting to the reverse. No central button but nor sure if this was ever worn with this particular one. It has some age to it.

Post WW2 - 2nd Phase 12th Kent Home Guard White on Red Felt Embroidered Shoulder Title

T shaped with the usual rubberized backing. Worn below a generic home guard shoulder title. A bit grubby but quite hard to come by. In WW2 the 12th Battalion were based at Chatham but unsure if they continued with this designation post war. Any information welcome.
