Postally unused, this Belgian card commemorates the memorial to the capture of the civilian Captain Fryatt of the Great Eastern Railway Company shipping line who was executed by the Germans. Not encountered this one before. The word ship on pencil to the reverse.

Scarce WW1 era Postcard of Airship / Zeppelin
Most images of airships, especially Zeppelins tend to be artist impressions. This is a real photograph of one seen cruising above the rooftops. The card is printed in English, so this is possibly a Zeppelin. Postally unused. Stain to reverse. Strange lines run across the image, possibly from when it was developed. Kitchener's Army and the Territorial Forces, by Edgar Wallace - a large hardback book published circa 1915
188 pages. profusely illustrated with black and white photos. It has a small number of colour plates. There is no date of publication, but given it is all about the training of this army, it suggests late 1915. Circa 28cm by 21.5cm.
Condition is poor as the spine has separated from the book and a few pages are loose, but all present and correct and contents clean and undamaged. ... read more
WW2 Territorial Army Silver Mufti Lapel Badge
Sanctioned for wear in 1938, and made by Royal Mint, this badge consisted of the letters TA between two horizontal lines across the centre of a circle.
